How am I made?

Always striving to preserve and celebrate time-honoured artisanal techniques, the design of this wall hanging has been executed with a style of hand embroidery we’re crazy about. Crewel, an ancient form of embroidery, can be found here and throughout our range. Chosen for its textural quality and workmanship, the intricacy of the embroidery on this piece is nothing short of inspiring.

Performed in the homes of Kashmir in Northern India, our artisans are keeping this tradition alive. Usually farmers during the season, this embroidery work is taken up to substitute their income during the off-season, thereby improving their livelihood. The result is an heirloom quality piece that’s imbued with the magic of the hand touch.
